Consultations for Bereaved Parents

  • As a Lactation Consultant and a Holding Space Consultant who specializes in bereavement support around the perinatal period, I offer 1:1 sessions to bereaved parents. You may come to share your grief story with a listening ear who understands, or receive guidance on your options surrounding lactation when there is no longer a baby to feed.

    I am here to listen.

    I am trained as a holding space consultant and also specialize in helping lactating families navigate decisions surrounding the death of an infant.

    I offer support in navigating the experience of lactating following a late miscarriage or the death of an infant, navigating an expectant loss, processing a pregnancy termination, options for milk donation or lactation cessation, and all things related to bereavement care.

Workshops for Medical Professionals

  • Training in Grief Support and Lactation Care after Perinatal Loss

  • Available to hospital staff, lactation professionals, bereavement doulas, social workers

  • For individuals who work with bereaved families, I am happy to provide you with mentorship.

    If you are a healthcare provider who feels your staff could use additional training in supporting families with lactation after perinatal loss, and with tools to support families with compassion, I am happy to work with you and your team.

    Workshops typically are offered as two sessions, 2.5 hours each, but can be adapted to fit your organization’s needs.

    The first session will cover how to support grieving families. The second session will go into detail about providing options for milk and lactation and how to provide breast/chest care for lactating parents.
